The Orange County Game Council (OCGC) is an alliance of private-sector companies and public sector partners aimed at serving the interests of the Orange County, Calif. electronic games community.

Orange County supports a growing community of video and computer game software development companies.  OCGC provides a forum for county-based businesses cooperating with government and educational institutions such as the University of California at Irvine (UCI) to invest in the growth and prosperity of the local games industry.

OCGC's board of directors is made up of representatives from prominent local games companies and educators from UCI.

OCGC sponsors the annual "Orange County Game Designer of the Year Award," available to game designers who live and work in Orange County.  Winners receive a $1,000 honorarium and have a scholarship awarded in their names to select students in the UCI School of Arts.
